Blessed Indeed

There was a point in my life when I hit bottom. Ever been there? I never felt so alone. The world I once knew was over and I was so quickly placed into a new world where I couldn't see anything in front of me. I felt like I was the only person there. I tried to come up with ways of getting away and starting over. I prayed to God that he would take me out of that state I was in because I just didnt know how to face it or handle it alone. I prayed that he would help me so I tried searching for a way out. Maybe move and start over somewhere. Do you ever really think about what your requesting when you pray? Sometimes we can pray so hard for something and in that moment truly believe with everything in us that we know what it is that we need. One of the great things about our God is that He is always one step ahead.. preparing a way for us to prosper in all that we do.

Jeremiah 29"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back from captivity."

During that time in my life I couldn't see hope...but He assured me that it was there. He gave me everything that I needed exactly when I needed it..His timing could have never been more perfect and because of this amazing gift he has given me, I have put my trust in Him. He is so much greater than my infinite mind can fathom.

This has become the praise of my life
I love the Lord for He heard my voice, He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned his ear to me I will call on Him as long as I live. The chords of death entangled me and the anguish of the grave came over me. I was overcome by trouble and sorrow, then I called on the name of the Lord- Oh Lord save me.. The Lord is gracious and righteous and he is full of compassion. The Lord protects the simplehearted. When I was in great need, He saved me. Be at rest once more oh my soul, for the Lord has been good to you. For you oh Lord have delivered my Soul from death, my eyes from tears and my feet from stumbling so that I may walk with you in the land of the living...Psalm 116

One of the most amazing things God has done for me was take that emptiness I once had and completely filled it.. and when I mean filled, I mean overflowed! I am so thankful for the people in these photos. They have been my encouragement and have really been used in my life daily to strengthen my relationship with Christ. They are my mentors, my role models, my best friends.. people I can truly trust and people I look up more than they know. I cherish these relationships and feel so blessed to be a part of their lives. :) <3

Music for the SOUL

I thought I would share some of my favorite songs on here.. I absolutely love music and I love to sing along to songs and praise the Lord for all he has done for me! It's amazing how a song can really lift your spirits and refocus your mind when you are stumbling through a patchy part of your life. These are some songs that encourage me daily.. Worship isn't limited to just singing songs of praise- it's a daily surrender of yourself and giving your life for Christ as He gave his life for us....but this is one part i'd have to say that I thoroughly enjoy!
